All Brantley Guitars are handcrafted from select tonewoods. Each receives individual attention in the build process and is finished with nitrocellulose lacquer. Brantley Guitars can build a fully customized guitar for you and I am always excited to work on a new design. This means you are not constrained to specific body styles, scale lengths, or finishes. I have access to some of the finest tonewoods available due to my proximity to the port of Houston and several outstanding lumber dealers. Because musical instruments may acclimate themselves during the first few months of use, Brantley Guitars offers a complimentary tune up, between 6 and 9 months after purchase. Contact us to coordinate the return of your instrument to our shop to determine if any changes to the neck relief or string action are necessary. Any defects found, due to construction or materials will be repaired. This repair does not cover damage to the finish or due to neglect or normal wear and tear.
Nitrocellulose lacquer is a thin finish, requiring 10-12 coats to provide the level of gloss on a Brantley Guitar. It will age gracefully for years, taking on an amber hue and wearing thin in areas of contact. This is commonly referred to as “road wear”, and will not affect the play or tone of your guitar.
